How to schedule a SQL Server Agent Job to execute once a year -(Annually)

28 May,2014 by Jack Vamvas

Question: A business process requires me to schedule a SQL Server Agent Job to execute once a year (annually). How can I configure SQL Server Agent Scheduler?

Answer:    Set Frequency

Occurs :  Monthly

The 1st day  of every 12 Months

Another question I see on forums asks about setting a job every 2 years. It is not possible to set the frequency for every 2 years with SQL Server Agent. As a DBA it may be prudent to request approval from business owners and other interested groups, many things can change over this timeframe .
