I received a phone call from the ETL manager - with the following message in the SQL Server Logs.
SSPI handshake failed with error code 0x80090304 while establishing a connection with integrated security; the connection has been closed. [CLIENT: 10.111.111.21]
The causes I’ve seen in the past are:
1)Connection problems between the server and domain controllers
2)Insufficient permissions to AD
3)Infrequent occurrence points to SQL Server losing connectivity with the Domain Controller.
For example, in the process of a DC failover, network issues, heavy load
