Active Directory and Microsoft Management Console

If attempting to add  the Active Directory snap in to the  Microsoft Management Console and you can’t see the    Active Directory options in the Standalone snap ins – take the following steps :

 1)Download the Administration Tools Pack – in my case it was the Windows 2003 Administrations Tools Pack and install.

2)Upon reboot you should be able to see the options

3)Now progress with adding the snap in
